Compared to traditional silicon steel solutions, no-load losses are reduced by 70%–80%, and operating noise is lowered by 10–12 decibels. They can deliver stable power output across a wide temperature range of -45°C to 120°C. Nanocrystalline materials are well-suited for high-frequency power conversion in rail vehicles, with high-frequency eddy current losses amounting to only one-third of those in ferrite materials. This enables a 30% reduction in equipment weight within the limited space of train cars, optimizing the vehicle’s overall load capacity and energy efficiency.

The product line is primarily divided into three categories: onboard traction power supply, station power distribution, and signal sensing. It is widely used in power conversion for high-speed trains, auxiliary power supply for subways, rail signal acquisition, and emergency power distribution in tunnels. Key features include vibration resistance, temperature tolerance, and resistance to power grid surges, enabling long-term operation under complex conditions such as vehicle start-stop impacts, tunnel dust, and extreme outdoor temperatures.

Strict adherence to operational guidelines is required: regularly clean dust from the surfaces of core modules to prevent short circuits caused by metal debris; avoid prolonged operation at full load; during maintenance, avoid strong impacts to the core, as amorphous materials are highly brittle and impacts can easily cause magnetic circuit fractures; store idle spare parts in a dry, temperature-controlled warehouse to prevent moisture-induced degradation of magnetic properties.

From a materials perspective, amorphous materials are primarily used in power-frequency traction transformers, while nanocrystalline materials are focused on high-frequency filter inductors and precision current transformers. Both materials address the energy consumption bottlenecks of traditional electrical equipment from a magnetic materials standpoint, representing a core breakthrough for cost reduction and efficiency improvement in rail transit.
